Lake Norman Chamber Foundation

The LKN Chamber Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization affiliated with of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. Its purpose is to support the community of Lake Norman through activities and organizations whose purposes are beneficial to those who live or work in that community.  Donations are always appreciated.   Call 704.892.1922 for more information.

The Lake Norman Chamber Foundation was created in 2008 as the chairtable arm of the Chamber of Commerce. It is a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization. Since its inception, the Foundation has beeen active providing assistance for local scholarships, collaborating with the North Mecklenburg High School Automotive program, and the recognition of our Educators of the Year working closely with the Lake Norman Chamber Education Collaborative.

In 2022, the Foundation held the first “Thanksgiving Breakfast” where $25,000+ was raised by business leaders for the Lake Norman YMCA Pre and After School Program. Each year, the Foundation will select a Lake Norman Chairty as the beneficary of these funds.

Each year, the Chamber selects an Outstanding Educator of the Year for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (Public), Charter, and Private School as well as an area industry or business who has demonstrated a passion for vocational excellence in our area high schools.
