Bill Russell, the president and chief executive officer of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, is a resident of Huntersville, NC. Bill attended Winthrop University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He served in 1992-1993 as the 73rd President of the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees).

Bill serves on the Boards of Visit Lake Norman, Hugh Torance House & Store, Our Towns Habitat for Humanity, Lake Norman EDC, the Ada Jenkins Center, and United States Jaycee Foundation. He is a past president of the Lake Norman Kiwanis Club and the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. He is also a member of the North Mecklenburg Rotary Club. In 1996, he was recognized with the Order of the Palmetto, the highest honor bestowed upon a citizen in the State of South Carolina for his civic involvement. He is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber Institute for Organizational Management and a Fellow with the N.C. Institute of Political Leadership. In 2008, Bill acheived his Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) designation with ACCE.

Holly serves as the bookkeeper for the Chamber overseeing the financial operations including membership receivables and payables. Holly has worked over 15 years in both public and corporate accounting sectors. She has focused on non-profit accounting over the last several years with various non-profits and churches. Holly attended Central CT State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She resides in Mount Pleasant with her husband and 2 children.

Jack is the "go-to" guy for information regarding:

• Networking events
• Event sponsorship and marketing opportunities
• Ribbon cuttings
• Membership education programs including seminars, workshops, and professional development

He's also responsible for the membership benefit programs, as well as membership contact information, membership renewals and new members. Prior to working at the Chamber, Jack spent 30+ years as a retail banker in the San Francisco Bay Area.  There he served as Senior Vice President and also served on the Bank's Board of Directors.  In 1989-90, he served as president of his local Rotary Club and was very involved with his church.  He and his wife Vickie moved to the beautiful lake region for a complete change of pace.  In adition to his position at the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, Jack is an active Board Member of H.O.H.T (Helping Others Help Themselves - a local employment training and job bank.

Denise Hurley is one of three membership directors for the Lake Norman Chamber. She is a native Bostonian who has been in the Huntersville area for 13 years and has ben selling advertising for N2 Publishing for 9 years. She has 3 daughters who are 13, 14 and 15 and attend both Hough High School and Bailey Middle School where she is the corporate sponsor for the PTA for both. A member of both Executive Women of Lake Norman and B2B networking group, Denise is active in the community and volunteers for a number of organizations.

Bryan Viger is one of three Membership Directors. In addition to membership sales for the Chamber, Bryan owns and operates a local publishing company, Over Yonder Magazine (OYM), which he conceptualized in 2014. His vision was create a marketing vehicle specifically designed for local independently owned businesses. The foundational goal was to create a marketing tool that could solidify quantifiable ROI for his client partners. Bryan grew up with a father who owned a local small business and knew after 18 years of leadership for a Fortune 50 company there were some measurables that could be implemented and leveraged to support local market and have positive impact.

Prior to forming OYM, Bryan served 18+ years at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) working his way through the company with the last ten years serving as Global Head of Motorsports Marketing and Business Development for FCA, where he was responsible for the $300M P&L as well as executing operational objectives as it pertained to motorsports interactive marketing, team and sanctioning body contracts (NASCAR, Supercross, X-Games, 24 LeMans, IMSA) and supporting product placement (Universal Pictures). Create innovative marketing concepts that supported numerous B2B relationship programs held between OEM and sponsor partners as well as suppliers and dealers.

Born in Charlotte, NC, Tom was raised in the Nevin/Derita area, He graduated from North Mecklenburg High School in 1961 and from UNC Charlotte with a BA in Business Administration in 1966. Tom married Ann Dunlap in 1965 and have two children and two grandchildren. Tom Dutton served 44 years in banking including 26 years with First Union National Bank before
relocating to Cornelius in 1973 when First Union first acquired the North Mecklenburg Bank.

Tom retired from Bank of the Ozarks in 2016 and has been a member of Mt Zion United Methodist Church since 1973, Dutton has been involved in many civic activities including an attempt to merge the three North Mecklenburg towns in the mid 70’s, North Mecklenburg Medical Development Board, Cornelius Lions Club, YMCA Board, Troop 10 Boy Scouts, and North Mecklenburg Rotary Club.
