Lake Norman Chamber Welcomes Gail Williams to Staff

Gail to Start May 18th as Vice President of Investor Engagement

Gail Williams, a longtime sales professional in the Charlotte – Lake Norman market, has joined the staff of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce as Vice President of Investor Engagement.  Williams was previously the Sales and Marketing Director for Business Today / Cornelius Today for nine years and was a Classified Advertising Manager for the Charlotte Business Journal from 2010 to 2012.

Williams experience in sales and marketing is extensive with positions at Charlotte Magazine as well as a tenure in Television and Radio in Atlanta, Ga.  She has been recognized as one of the “Top 50 Most Influential Women” in Charlotte (2016) by The Mecklenburg Times and “Top Women in Business – Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2015 by Business Today / Cornelius Today.

Gail graduated from the Lake Norman Chamber’s Leadership Lake Norman and co-chaired the Junior Leadership program in 2016. Active in many of the Chamber’s programs such as the Lake Norman Diversity Division, Power Luncheon series, and Focus Fridays, she is expected to play a significant role in the creation of new chamber programs and membership benefits.

Gail Williams will begin her position with the Lake Norman Chamber effective Monday, May 18th.

The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce represents 860+ members on the Huntersville, Davidson, Cornelius, and greater Lake Norman region. The Chamber has served the business community since 1987.
