Great downstarirs 3 640x310The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the signature event of the Chamber, the Lake Norman Business Expo, is set to take place at the NEW Huntersville Recreation Center located at 11836 Verhoeff Drive in Hunterville. The location is beside the Merancas Campus of Central Piedmont Community College and directly across the street from the Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics Center. The date of the show is Thursday, October 11th from 11 am until 5 pm.

The Lake Norman Business Expo is again presented by Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Randy Marion Auto Group.

This location in Huntersville gives the trade show an opportunity to take advantage of a higher population and business density. On a single floor, businesses are concentrated in one area in contrast to the three different areas at the Davidson Belk Arena which hosted previous events. There is also ample parking with both the Recreation Center Parking Lot and a shared lot with CPCC, which is not in session that day allowing for more parking for guests.

Sponsorship sales have opened with general booth sales expected to begin later this month. There is no increase in costs from the 2017 Expo. To register for a sponsorship simply visit 2018 Lake Norman Chamber Expo Sponsorship or call the chamber at 704-892-1922 for more information.

The Business Expo, celebrating its 18th Anniversary, has become the largest business to business trade show in the lake region. Bill Russell, president of the chamber is excited about the new move. ?We are grateful to Davidson College for hosting the previous Expos outside of the first Expo held in Cornelius in 2001 and one outing at CPCC in 2010. This new location, while smaller, allows our Expo to showcase about 110 businesses in one location. The new recreation center also allows us to capitalize on a larger population and business district than in previous years.?

As in prior years, sponsors will be allowed to choose booth location and a pre-event reception is being scheduled for sponsors only the evening before the Expo. For more information contact the Lake Norman Chamber at 704-892-1922 or visit LakeNormanChamber.org

The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, with approximately 950 business members, has served the Huntersville, Davidson, Cornelius, and greater Lake Norman regional business community since 1987.
