Details coming soon - Focus Friday, September 18th 8:30-9:30am Refueling and Maintenance Outages - The Impact to McGuire Nuclear Station and the Local Business Community
Tom Ray, McGuire site vice president, will be leading Focus Friday on behalf of Duke Energy. Refueling and Maintenance Outages - The Impact to McGuire Nuclear Station and the Local Business Community. The focus of our conversation will be centered on the following: • A general discussion on McGuire operations • A high level discussion on what a nuclear refueling and maintenance outage is. • The number of contractors we typically bring in to assist with an outage. • What Duke Energy is doing to keep our teammates safe during COVID-19 as additional contractors visit our site.
Depending on who’s on the call, we’d also like to hear from participants especially if they are local restaurants/hotel owners in the area so they can discuss their COVID-19 protocols.
