Our January BusinessWorks kicks off 2019 with a Noon to 1:15 start at the Chamber. It is a Lunch n’ Learn program and we encourage you to bring a lunch and learn with us!

Topic: 5 Keys to Increasing Your Sales Influence

Whether it’s in direct sales or influencing the buyer’s decision, if you’re in business increasing your sales influence and understanding how to influence the sales conversation, it will grow your business. In just one hour you will learn practical and actionable skills to connect with potential buyers or clients.

The 5 Keys to Increasing Your Sales Influence Lunch n’ Learn will focus on:

2. How to identify your ideal clients
3. Why relationships matter
4. Three questions to ask in every deal
5. The importance of persistence

You will engage in an interactive discussion around the practical skills every business professional needs to master. And, you will leave with strategies that you can immediately implement to increase your success in every sales and promotion conversation.

The BusinessWorks Program is brought to you in collaboration with SCORE – America’s Small Business Counselors. Held at the Chamber – Randy Marion Conference Room. BusinessWorks is a program of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce that focuses on personal skills: management, marketing, operations, and sales.

About our Speakers:

Winkle ReDave Winkle

Dave Winkle is the founder and president of Peak Performance Sales Solutions, a company that helps small- to medium-size businesses achieve breakthrough sales growth, discipline, and accountability. He has more than 25 years of experience building high-performing sales organizations and delivering operational excellence across public, family-owned, and private equity companies. 

Dave earned a BS in marketing from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He is a strong believer in the servant leader philosophy and uses it to successfully build employee engagement and improve sales results in several companies.

In his free time, Dave enjoys cycling, hiking, boating and reading. He is involved in several community service projects, the Lake Norman Rotary Club, and church groups in the Lake Norman area. He and his wife, Ann, love spending time with their four grown children and grandson.

Always upbeat and positive, Damian Johnson brings a reassuring and action-oriented approach to the coaching and training profession. With 15 years of professional sales experience, Damian is now an executive director and certified leadership coach, trainer, and speaker with the John Maxwell Team. Damian earned his degree from Morehouse College and has become a student of leadership, sales, and personal finance. When he isn’t working, he is involved in serving others through his local church, and spending time with his wife and three children.
