AppointmentOur August BusinessWorks will once again be held at our NEW TIME – Noon to 1:15 at the Chamber. It is a Lunch n’ Learn program and we encourage you to bring a lunch and learn with us!

This month we are fortunate to have Wes Muntz, Account Representative with WSIC Radio. Wes will share the importance of scheduled, well-crafted phone sessions; provide guidance on who, when and why to call; share insights to improve the likelihood of reaching the proper person and obtaining a one-on-one appointment; and help establish easily understood metrics that the attendees can utilize in their sales calls. Don’t miss this informative session!

The BusinessWorks! Program is brought to you in collaboration with SCORE – America’s Small Business Counselors. Held at the Chamber – Randy Marion Conference Room. BusinessWorks is a program of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce that focuses on personal skills: management, marketing, operations, and sales.

After being a loyal listener for 20 years, Wes joined the WSIC team in February of 2014. Born in Cleveland Ohio, Wes graduated from Liberty University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, an Associates Degree in applied science as well as a bachelors and Masters Degree in Theology. After college, Wes served in the United States Air Force until 1996 when moved to Statesville. As a member of the WSIC team, Wes enjoys meeting with business owners to learn about their passions and using his three decades of marketing experience to assist connecting these businesses with the community. Wes is married and has two grown children. In addition to his work with WSIC, Wes is also the pastor of a local church.
