About our Speaker: Deanna Baumgardner, PHR, SHRM-CP
Deanna Baumgardner started Employers Advantage LLC in August of 2010 to provide small businesses with a viable option for Human Resources support that fits the specific needs of a small business and non-profits. As a small business owner herself, she understands the impact that having the right resources and support can have on the company and the employees.
Prior to starting Employers Advantage LLC, Deanna’s Human Resources experience comes from being in Corporate Human Resource roles of progressive responsibility over the life of her career.
Deanna graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) as well as a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Since 2003,
Deanna has been an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is currently an active member of the Lake Norman HR Chapter of SHRM. She is also a member of Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, the Lake Norman Executive Group and services on the Human Resources Advisory Committee for the Mecklenburg County Board of County Commissioners. Unrelated to HR, but she also serves on the Parks & Recreation Commission for the Town of Huntersville.
