Message to the Membership: This past Tuesday, the Lake Norman Chamber was pleased to host a candidate forum to help educate voters on the issues facing our growing and diverse region this election season. We thank both the candidates who participated along with those who could attend. Mrs Latasha Coleman was honored by the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce at the 16th Annual Public Safety Luncheon presented by Wells Fargo Bank on Thursday, October 18th.  Mrs. Coleman was selected by the North Mecklenburg Crime Stoppers for her actions on October 14, 2017 in the apprehension and arrest of two individuals by the Cornelius Police Department.  The award was presented by Lake Norman Chamber President Bill Russell accompanied by the Board of the Crime Stoppers. The Lake Norman Chamber will host a candidate forum featuring the candidates vying for North Carolina Senate District #41 along with Mecklenburg County District #1. The event will be held Tuesday, October 23rd at Central Piedmont Community College - Merancas Camus 11930 Verhoeff Drive in Huntersville, Criminal Justice Building.
